The question.

How can Voka, traditionally seen as a business network for established entrepreneurs, engage young entrepreneurs between 17 and 24 years old? Many young people perceived Voka as an exclusive club for senior business leaders rather than a lively network to share experiences, have open discussions, and connect with peers. With Jong Voka, Voka aimed to change this perception by positioning itself as an accessible, inspiring, and valuable network for young talent. But how could they effectively reach a younger audience?

The challenge

The key challenge was overcoming stereotypes about Voka. Many young people viewed it as a space dominated by older, well-established entrepreneurs rather than a platform for aspiring business minds. To successfully raise awareness about Jong Voka, Voka needed to meet young entrepreneurs where they already were - on TikTok - while demonstrating the real benefits of joining the network.

The solution

To bridge the gap, Schwung.id stepped in with an organic TikTok approach, designed to showcase some of the benefits young entrepreneurs can have in this network. Schwung created short-form video content featuring young Voka ambassadors, giving tips about networking, how to start a business … in a funny and relatable way.
By using TikTok’s authentic, fast-paced format, Schwung tries to break down the barriers that keep young entrepreneurs from engaging with Voka. The content reinforces the message that Jong Voka is for all young entrepreneurs—not just the "bosses of the bosses."
